    Hair light easy now

Why didnt I do this years ago? Ive got a small basement studio and found it really awkward to get a light above my subjects for a hair light. When I saw this on Strobepro.com, my mind started to figure out a way to install it and still keep my ceiling tile. Kevin helped me brainstorm and here it is. Hmm, I wanted to put the photos in sequence, but I cant seem to do that. Basically I removed a ceiling panel, added a brace, installed the fixed mount ceiling stand. Separated the extension so it was just a tube, measured 3 times to make sure the hole would be in the right place , put up the tile, attached the extension and now I can put up whatever modifier I want. I also tested it with a magic arm so I can vary the distance and angles.

    Works great in home studio

Perfect item (Pair) Use to mount lights permanently to ceiling of home studio. We have exposed studs, so just angled the mount so that 2 corners could be attached with lag screws. Solid.
